Official Full Name Recombinant Murine Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha/CCL20 (rMuMIP-3alpha/CCL20)
Squence Squence of Recombinant Murine Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha/CCL20
Amino Acid Sequence ASNYDCCLSY IQTPLPSRAI VGFTRQMADE ACDINAIIFH TKKRKSVCAD PKQNWVKRAV NLLSLRVKKM
Synonyms LARC, Beta-chemokine Dxodus-1, Liver and Activation-regulated Chemokine
Accession Number O89093
GeneID 20297
Summary CCL20, also named LARC (Liver and Activation-regulated Chemokine), is encoded by CCL20 located on chromosome 1 in mouse. The expression can be induced by LPS and some inflammatory cytokines, and it is at a high level in lymph nodes, PBL, fatal liver, fatal lung, appendix and so on. CCL20 has functions of chemotactic towards lymphocytes and dendritic cells. Additionally, it promotes the adhesion of memory CD4+ T cells and inhibits colony formation of bone marrow myeloid immature progenitors. CCL20 elicits it effects by binding with CCR6 receptor.
Source Escherichia coli.
Molecular Weight Approximately 8.0 kDa, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 70 amino acids.
Biological Activity Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biologically active determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human CCR6 transfected murine BaF3 cells is in a concentration range of 0.1-10 ng/ml.
Appearance Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Formulation Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4.
Endotoxin Less than 1 EU/ug of rMuMIP-3α/CCL20 as determined by LAL method.
Reconstitution We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.- 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 °C as supplied.- 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.- 3 months, -20 to -70 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
